About Kristin

A grounded, supportive approach to healing

Tansi, I'm Kristin Thomas. I am an Indigenous woman with an education in psychiatric nursing - I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and an approved NIHB Mental Health Services provider. I have worked in nursing and counselling for the past 11 years.

I have focused my career on Indigenous people and communities. I provide culturally aware and sensitive services, while acknowledging trauma and appreciating one's hope and potential for the future.

I promote prevention in terms of health and mental health care, and I feel it is so important to consistently be aware of our mental and physical health so that we can live the best quality of life possible.

My approach addresses the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual components of one's self in order to achieve balance in these areas for optimal wellness. My approach is also trauma informed and culturally safe. My role is to help you identify your strengths, deepen your self-understanding and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I welcome individuals from across Saskatchewan who are looking for compassionate support in a safe and respectful space.
